On Sunday, October 3, following newly ordained Fr. Tyler Mentzer, MIC’s first Mass, the original sacred icons by artist, James Sulkowski, were blessed by Fr. Tyler. The sacred icons, including the icon entitled by the late Fr. Seraphim Michalenko, MIC, are now permanently housed for veneration at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. All Glory be to God!!
St. Joseph and Knights of Columbus Founder, Fr. Michael McGivney interceded as we witnessed the blessing of our “Father’s Day Icon” by Pittsburgh, PA artist, James Sulkowski. The blessing was imparted by Bishop Mark Brennan, Diocese of Wheeling/Charleston at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Wheeling, WV on the evening of September 19, 2020.
On December 9, 2019, the Feast of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, Foundation of Jesus The Divine Mercy and Preborn Jesus Ministry presented the Missionaries of the Eternal Word and the Marians of The Immaculate Conception, beautiful custom prepared vestments by seamstress, Susan Newman. The new vesica of The Icon was designed and added to the vestments. The vestments were a donation in the amount of $2000.
A fundraiser was held by Foundation of Jesus The Divine Mercy and chaired by Dave and Kate Papak and Pat Polachek in November 2019. This netted $1007 which was gifted to Fr. Bomukama Denis in Uganda to purchase a pregnant milk cow, three pigs, several chickens, a meal for 300 children, and t-shirts for 300 children.
During September-December 2019, Foundation of Jesus The Divine Mercy was honored to give various donations totaling $7,736 for "The Divine Mercy Kids' Prayer Group" t-shirts, meals, snacks, World Mission Rosaries, logo banners, translating, and filming for the "Global Family Eucharistic Holy Hour" and "Global Divine Mercy Chaplet" programs broadcasted on EWTN for children in Ghana, Nigeria, Philippines, Rwanda, and Uganda.
On March 24, Foundation of Jesus The Divine Mercy and Preborn Jesus Ministry hosted the Lenten Evening at St. Anthony Chapel (America's home of 5,000 Catholic relics), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
On March 18, 2019, Pat Polachek, Co-Founder and President of Foundation of Jesus The Divine Mercy, introduced the Global Family Eucharistic Hour and collaboration with Preborn Jesus Ministry during “Vigilant Heart” with Radio Maria hosted by Annie Karto.
“Mercy, Heaven’s Weapon” was presented at St Benedict School in Carrolltown, PA by Pat Polachek and Kate Papak to students Grades 1-8 during Father Louis Guardiola’s four day Mission teaching on the Real Eucharistic Presence. The kids learned of ways to pray and become warriors for God in this timely teaching about Jesus The Divine Mercy and Mary, Ark of The New Covenant.
Great thanks to Basil Dannebohm, founder of the Society of Our Lady, Healer of Hearts, for organizing this blessed day at St. John the Baptist School in Beloit, KS! The students loved praying/singing the Chaplet in motion with their World Mission Rosaries.
Friday, October 13, 2017: A beautiful celebration was held in honor of the 100th anniversary of Our Lady’s final appearance at Fatima. The children re-consecrated themselves and their families to the Blessed Mother. They honored her by praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet in motion and the World Mission Rosary.

On Tuesday, October 10, 2017, Foundation of Jesus The Divine Mercy presents the Diocese of Pittsburgh Continuing Ed "Back to the Basics" course. FJDM Board member, Mark Cotter, discussed Divine Mercy, Pat, Eucharistic Adoration, and Darci gave instructions on "how to" host a Family Eucharistic Holy Hour in schools/parishes. Blue Army Guard, Don Kirkwood delivered his beautiful statue of Our Lady of Fatima in preparation for Friday, October 13th FEHH.
Tuesday, October 3, 2017 was Part 1 of the Diocese of Pittsburgh Continuing Ed "Back to the Basics 101" classes. Foundation of Jesus The Divine Mercy officer, Kate Papak, opened with song and Pat Polachek, President prayed for blessings upon the class. Various teachings on the Rosary were presented by FJDM Board members Dave Papak and Bernadette Conklin in preparation for the Family Eucharistic Holy Hour at Holy Trinity Parish/School on Friday, October 13 at 1:00. In closing, everyone presented a special Rose to Our Lady!
