Preborn Jesus Ministry and Jesus – The Divine Mercy Foundation collaborate on a number of Pro-Life initiatives. The opportune time to meet with the new Apostolic Nuncio to the U.S.A., His Excellency, Archbishop Christophe Pierre, came to fruition as we coordinated our travel to Washington, D.C. on January 26, 2017 for the March for Life. We were humbled to receive an appointment with His Excellency. The two-fold purpose of the appointment was to gift His Excellency with the Mary, Ark of The New Covenant liturgical vestments, designed and sewn by Susan Newman, Morning Glory Embroidery, the 16-inch statue of Mary, Ark of The New Covenant, and the Pro-Life Divine Mercy icon. Upon our request, His Excellency cordially imparted his solemn Apostolic Blessing upon us and our ministries. He was elated to know that our ministries are consecrated to Our Lady of Guadalupe.
His Excellency was most cordial and engaging as he listened to us explain our ministries. Bernadette shared the unfolding of the sacred artwork by Lea Ravotti, Vessel of the Preborn Jesus and the origin of the statue of Mary, Ark of The New Covenant. He was grateful to receive the beautiful custom liturgical vestments and admired their uniqueness. She also explained the Pro-Life Divine Mercy icon by artist James Sulkowski and the Jubilee Prayer Petition Initiative to pray for the healing and restoration of the relationship between the aborted babies and their parents. Pat explained that the Pro-Life Divine Mercy icon was based on the original artwork that Fr. Seraphim Michalenko, MIC, gave a teaching and entitled, The Virgin Mary of Nazareth, Ark of The New Covenant, Throne of The Divine Mercy Incarnate. She also discussed the Family Eucharistic Holy Hour program and showed the trailer from Holy Trinity School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Pat explained the Global Divine Mercy Chaplet and the various countries who will pray the Chaplet in their native languages as part of yet another upcoming new video. His Excellency thought it was very good and imparted his blessing for the possible airing of the full-length Family Eucharistic Holy Hour program on E.W.T.N. Join us in praying for our Apostolic Nuncio, our ministries, the sanctity of life and unity in the family.
