The long-awaited answer to prayer was received as renowned artist, James Sulkowski, met with Bernadette Conklin and Pat Polachek and the commission was given to James to paint the new images of Jesus - The Divine Mercy and Mary, Ark of The New Covenant. One of the primary purposes of the new images will be to have them displayed and venerated during the Family Eucharistic Holy Hour (FEHH) programs.

Bernadette brought the beautiful statue of Mary, Ark of The New Covenant to James' studio for a few weeks visit and a means of "inspiration" while he prepares for this great undertaking. Let us specifically ask the intercession of St. Louis de Montfort and Fr. Slavko as Jim creates the painting of Mary, Ark of The New Covenant.





They will also present James with St. Faustina's Diary at the time he will begin the work on the image of Jesus - The Divine Mercy.It is JTDMF's hope to have James present the images to His Holiness, Pope Francis at the upcoming World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, September 22-27, 2015.
